Guides for connecting your data and ad accounts, defining the conversions and metrics that matter to your business, activating audiences, publishing social, planning spend against forecasted outcomes, turning website visitors into a CRM with Signal, focusing on the accounts that matter with ABM, proving marketing against your books with Margin, and generating on-brand ads from your winners with Creative.
Getting started
Connect your data sources — Bellaso unifies your marketing and business data into one source of truth. Before anything else, connect the platforms you already use — Bellaso handles the syncing from there.
Invite your team — Bellaso is most useful when everyone works from the same numbers. Add teammates and assign access so the right people see the right workspaces and products.
Connect ad accounts
Connect an ad platform — Connecting an ad account lets Bellaso act on a channel — pull your creatives in and push audiences back out for activation. It's a live, write-capable link, set up separately from the read-only data sources you connect for reporting.
Choose an ad account — Most platforms expose more than one ad account under a single login. Tell Bellaso which one to work with so creatives and audiences sync to the right place.
Conversions
Set up a conversion — A conversion is the action you actually care about — a lead form, a purchase, a booked call. Define it once and Bellaso measures it consistently across every connected channel.
Map CRM stages to conversions — Platform-reported clicks tell you what happened on the channel. Mapping CRM stages as conversions tells you what happened in your business — and attributes it back to the channel that started it.
Metrics
Use built-in metrics — Every workspace ships with the core marketing metrics out of the box: spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, leads, CPL, and ROAS. They populate automatically as your sources sync — no setup required.
Build a custom metric — When the built-ins don't capture something specific to your business, compose your own from any fields and conversions across your connected sources.
Set up alerts on a metric — An alert watches a metric and notifies you when it crosses a line — so you find out a campaign is drifting before it costs you, not at the end of the month.
Compare periods on the Overview — Pulse Overview can compare this date range to the one before it, or to the same dates last year. Pick a comparison from the Compare menu in the filter row (in the filter sheet on mobile). Previous period is the same-length window that ends the day before your range starts. Same period last year is your range shifted back one year. The chart draws a lighter dashed line for every KPI. KPI cards, the Performance by Channel table, Splitero channel spend, and All channels all switch their change arrows to that same window.
Compare campaigns, ad sets, and ads by KPI — The Campaigns, Ad Sets, and Ads pages can chart selected rows against each other. Turn on compare with the chart button at the top of the table, then pick the KPIs to plot from the KPIs row above the chart — spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPM, CPC, and every conversion KPI you've configured, such as MQLs, cost per MQL, applications, or cost per application. The KPIs row and the checkboxes in the column headers are the same selection, so either one works.
All channels
Read the all-channels overview — The Overview page on your Pulse dashboard has two tabs. Overview keeps your familiar KPI cards, daily trend and paid-network breakdown. All channels rolls every source — paid, organic, email, web and ecommerce — into one comparable table so you can see where results actually come from. The tab you're on is remembered in the URL (…?tab=channels), so you can bookmark or share a direct link. Both tabs share the date range, organization, and Compare menu from the filter bar above them.
Email
Read the email dashboard — When you connect ActiveCampaign, Pulse adds an Email section that reports on your campaign sends the same way it reports on ads. The Overview shows sends, delivered, open rate, click rate, CTOR, unsubscribe rate, bounce rate and campaigns sent for the selected range, each with its change versus the previous period — and a trend you can layer metrics onto by clicking the cards, with a Day / Week / Month / Year X-axis toggle in the filter bar at the top of the page.
Dig into campaigns and subject lines — The Campaigns page lists every send with sortable columns and search, so you can rank by open rate or click rate, spot split tests, and export the current view to CSV. The Subject Lines page ranks subjects by open rate and breaks down what tends to work — emoji, questions, numbers, personalization, length, send weekday and send hour — plus a view of your A/B tests.
Where email data comes from — Pulse pulls email campaigns from three platforms: ActiveCampaign, HubSpot marketing emails, and Salesforce email campaigns (including Marketing Cloud Connect results). Connect any of them from Platforms — you can run more than one at once, and Pulse blends them into the same sends, opens, clicks and rate metrics.
Organic social
Read the organic social dashboard — Connect a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account and Pulse adds an Organic Social section that reports your unpaid post performance. The Overview headlines followers, follower change, reach, views, engagements, engagement rate, posts published and link clicks for the selected range — each with its change versus the previous period — plus a daily trend you can layer metrics onto by clicking the cards, a per-account breakdown, and your top posts.
Browse posts — The Posts page lists every published post in the range with a thumbnail, caption, platform, media type and its reach, views, likes, comments, shares, saves and engagement rate. Filter by platform, account, media type or a caption search, sort any metric column, and export the current view to CSV.
Audiences
Build an audience — Describe the people you want to reach in plain language and Bellaso assembles a matching audience from your data — no list uploads or pixel rules to wrangle.
Push an audience to your ad platforms — A saved audience isn't doing anything until you activate it. Pushing syncs it to Meta, Google, or LinkedIn, where you can target it in campaigns — and Bellaso keeps it refreshed so it doesn't go stale.
Social
Connect your social accounts — Before you can publish, link the profiles you post to. Connected pages and profiles are discovered automatically and show up as posting surfaces when you compose.
Schedule and publish a post — Compose once and publish across every connected network, with live previews and per-platform limits so a too-long caption or missing image gets caught before it goes out.
Planning & forecasting
Run a budget projection — Planning Studio answers the question every plan starts with: if we spend this, what do we get? Tell Bellaso what you intend to spend and it projects the outcomes — leads through to revenue — with confidence bands and seasonality built in.
Save and compare scenarios — A single projection is useful; the real value is in comparison. Save the plans worth revisiting and line them up side by side to see which budget mix gets you the most.
Signal CRM
Install the Signal pixel — Signal starts with a lightweight pixel on your website. It captures visits, touchpoints, and form submissions and stitches them into journeys — so when someone becomes a lead, you can see every step that led there.
Turn visitors into contacts — Visitors browse anonymously until they identify themselves — most commonly by submitting a form. From that moment, Signal resolves their identity and shows the full journey, including the anonymous touchpoints from before they raised their hand.
Manage pipelines and deals — Signal is a marketing CRM: move contacts through the stages you actually qualify by, and track deals as opportunities take shape — so marketing activity and revenue outcomes live in the same place.
Measure multi-touch attribution — Last click flatters whichever channel happened to be closest to the conversion. Multi-touch attribution spreads credit across the whole journey, so you can see which channels actually produce contacts, deals, and revenue.
ABM
Score your target accounts — ABM ranks the companies you care about by blending intent, first-party engagement, and CRM signals into one composite score, with a stage on every account — so the roster reads like a priority list, not a spreadsheet.
Build and activate a target list — A scored roster becomes useful when it drives media. Target lists group the accounts you want to pursue — built from filters or your own named accounts — and activate straight into a pushable audience.
Margin
Connect your books — Margin turns your accounting data into financial reporting inside Bellaso — P&L, cash position, and AR/AP aging — without exports or spreadsheets.
Read marketing against the P&L — Margin's signature view joins what ad platforms report (spend) with what your books report (revenue) — the reconciliation neither side can show alone.
Creative
What is Creative? — Creative reads every ad you've synced — the image, the headline, the angle — and joins those attributes to how the ad actually performed. From there it tells you what's winning and generates new on-brand creatives you can approve and ship.
How winners are detected — A winner isn't just a high click-through rate. Creative labels each ad by joining its extracted attributes to your down-funnel KPIs — the conversions and revenue you've defined — so cost per real outcome, not surface engagement, decides what's winning.
Generating on-brand creatives — Creative Studio turns your winners into new concepts. It briefs a generation from your winning DNA and brand kit, optionally anchored to a few reference winners you pick, and produces fresh images — each checked by an automated QC gate before you ever see it.
